I really really really really like this movie!! I love the characters and the costumes. I was mostly impressed by the way the mad hatter stole the whole movie. I know it was about Alice, but in the end you end up being amazed by the mad hatter, who was played by Johnny Debt (or however you spell it:o). In my opinion he is a great actor! I look up to him and hope to be as great of an actress one day. I love the way he "steals the show" as we say in theatre.
He's an actor that only like to play small roles, as i heard. The only main role I've seen him play was in the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and he still did great! but anyways, in my opinion, the movie wouldn't have been the same without him. He is someone i look up to, and like my theatre teachers have always said, "there are no small parts, only small actors" O.o
The first time I went to see this movie in theaters was with my friend of four years, Katelyn. She is completely, madly in love with Johnny Depp. The second the mad hatter came on the screen, she squeezed my arm to death and nearly had tears in her eyes. It was so funny, minus me losing the feeling in my arm she was squeezing. The mad hatter was my favorite in Alice in Wonderland (:
