Sometimes I wish I lived in a magical world of wizards and witches and magic O.o There are so many things I would do with magic. Here are a few on my list:
- I would make my sister clean my room.
- I would clone myself and send my clone to school.
- I would make my clone smart!
- I would travel back in time.
- I would travel to different places!!! wooo!
- I would mess with peoples' heads jajaja
I would just use magic for so many things!!
I really enjoyed working with this book and movie. I'll be honest, before I read this book, I was not a big fan of the Harry Potter Series. I thought it was absurd and just plain silly.
However, the author was a very creative person. I know that I wouldn't've been able to come up with this story, much less with all the names of the characters.
I like how Harry has two best friends. And later on they end up falling in-love. jajaja but my point was that I expected Harry to end up with Hermione, not Hermione end up with Ron.
hhmmmm... I just realized that there are alot of shows a that have 3 best friends:o like in Harry Potter for example umm: Lizzie McGuire, That's so raven, Ed Ed and Eddey, Hannah Montana, Phineas and Ferb, and a whole lot more that i can't remember the names of lol

There are a lot of shows that follow that format of 3 best friends or the 3 main characters. They say good things come in threes! If you also look at Draco Malfoy, who is the foil for Harry Potter, you see that Draco has two cronies, Crab and Goyle. If you really wanted to stretch it I'm sure you could find more pairs of three within the Harry Potter book itself! Maybe Dumbledore, because I would say his two closest allies at one point are Professor Snape and Professor Mc Gonnagall.
ReplyDeleteWhaooo! i would do the exact thing. I would include the part where you send your clone to work as well. Yet better idea, keep your clone in bed while you go out haha. FABULOUS!! And that is so cool i have never thought about the format of "3 best friends"... hum, i wounder if there is a meaning behind that, because in those shows one of the three friends is the main character and the other two are basically there to support that individual and letting out there true character traits.
ReplyDeleteWow Sheyla, you are so creative. I would have never thought up of all those ideas of what to use magic for besides just getting my homework done in a poof or teleport. Haha. I agree that Harry Potter was not what I expected. I thought it was just a boring kids book for people that likes to live in a world with weird creatures. This book was actually good. I kind of want to watch the new Harry Potter movie now. lol.
ReplyDeleteI love the list of things you would do if you had magical powers, but in reality, if you did indeed live in the magical world and you had a wand, you would not be able to do all of these things until you were basically out of highschool (Hogwarts). Well, at least not legally. Of course, you could be like Harry, Ron, and Hermione and do them all illegally. Also, making you sister do your chores would mean that you would have to put the imperius curse on her which is one of the three big NO-NO's in the magical world. It's a crime so serious that it would land you a life sentence in the Askaban prison. Cloning someone would be extremely difficult, and would also probably be dark magic, and messing with people's head would also be considered dark magic lol. All in all, I think the only safe thing to do would be to travel to different places. You could apparate, use the floo network, or ride on a broom! haha, sorry to burst your bubble, but the magical world is a lot more complicated than one might think. ((: gosh, I am such a Harry Potter geek!
ReplyDeleteSheyla, you should try to read the series sometime! It is really good. I know, it sounds silly, but reading the series just takes you away somewhere else to a different world. And I agree with what you said about the whole Ron and Hermione thing. I never would have expected it! I did not start to think anything of it until the fifth book. I do not remember what came out and smacked me in the face about it, but something did in that book!
